About the Jamaican data protection act 2020

The Data Protection Act 2020 is the main Act governing data privacy and protection in Jamaica. It was passed May 2020 and once enacted it will apply to any individual or entity that collects the personal data of any individuals in Jamaica following the two year implementation period.
