Article 24

1.          A number prescribed by national ordinance for the identification of a person, shall be used in the processing of personal data only to execute the relevant national ordinance or for purposes laid down by the national ordinance.

2.          In a national decree containing general measures, cases may be designated in which a number to be assigned as referred to in the first paragraph other than the cases referred to in the first paragraph, may be used. Further rulesmay be laid down regarding the use of such a number.
